Chinese White and Blue Dragon Motif Large Porcelain Vase/Urn
Second half of 20th Century, PROC (People’s Republic of China).
The ovoid porcelain body with blue and white glaze, hand-painted with two scaly dragons pursuing the flaming pearl amidst fire wisps and clouds above stylised waves.
Mark: Jingdezhen Zhi underglaze blue square mark to the base. These marks cover a huge date range, from the 1950s to 1995 at least.
Size approx.: Diameter (top) – 10.3, Diameter (body) – 14.5, Diameter (base) – 9.3, Height – 25 cm.
