Wivenhoe studio pottery Earthenware Small Can Jug in Blue and White Seashell & Fish Design by Pru Green.
Earthenware clay hand-decorated with dark blue, green, black and white coloured slips and a wonderful shine to the glaze. A lovely little Nautical Theme jug by this master potter. Each piece is hand thrown with precision and hand-decorated with the utmost care, making each piece unique. Pru Green signed.
There are three round marks to the base and these were caused by support posts when the cup was placed in Kiln/firing.
The jug has a small chip (see photos).
Year of Manufacture: 2010 onwards.
The jug measures 12 cm in diameter across the base and stands 6.5 cm high at the highest point.
